1) creates a space specifically for the voices, opinions and attitudes toward life for Black, Indigenous and Youth of Color (BIYOC) ages 17 -27. 2) conducts and distributes polls and surveys submitted anonymously by BIYOC to identify topics that are important to young minority communities nationwide. 3) utilizes a “six degrees of separation” approach to access and invite a network of celebrities, artists and creative professionals as guest speakers to participate in NOTES TO MY YOUNGER SELF virtual ZOOM conversations which addresses navigating life in contemporary society as a young person today. 4) designed to guide young people as they address topics taken directly from collected surveys. 5) began as a Miami, FL based project that forged community partnerships with local like-minded youth organizations to present FREE monthly master classes and workshops in and around South Florida. 6) the project has transitioned to online programming to widen our reach and amplify national youth voices due to the pandemic.

NOTES TO MY YOUNGER SELF
Our intent is to offer extraordinary opportunities for youth from various cultural, religious, geographic and racial backgrounds to creatively participate and explore self-identity through advice from various celebrity artists. By highlighting the story and the journey of artists from similar communities and who share similar backgrounds, young people can better understand their own lives, their own story, and how to best navigate the world that is currently working to redefine itself.
